Yesterday, I concluded the 21 Day Challenge to support my new book, Authentication Process the theme of which is connecting the dots of being a Believer and living a life of purpose.
Over the 21 days, we focused on three perspectives as the Believer pursues living a life of purpose:
1. Birth of a renewed mind: aligning our thoughts to God's Word and purpose for our lives
2. Standing on your square: recognizing the importance of what is required of us as we navigate life and its many distractions
3. Following Christ: our challenges and struggles should be catalysts for our spiritual growth
If you missed any of the 21 Day Challenge posts, please feel free to go back and revisit them.
Going into the New Year, I encourage you to not get carried away with the world's desire to set worldly resolutions, but to first:
1. Create more room in your life to establish/strengthen your relationship with God
2. Set your mind and heart on discovering and pursuing your purpose
This morning, I was checking my email and came across the post below from marketing guru, Seth Godin that gives a different perspective as I embrace this new year and focus on my word for 2020:
A box of infinity, by Seth Godin
It’s hard to look right at it.
The possibility that lies before us, the chance to connect,
to lead, to be heard–it’s bigger than it’s ever been.
Tempting indeed to avert your eyes, because staring into infinity means embracing just how small we feel.
We avert our eyes because to realize how much potential we have
to contribute puts us on the hook.
But whether we ignore it or not, the infinity of possibility remains.
Dance with it.
There is so much for us to do, but first we must discover God's plan for our lives, be intentional in His plan and connect - connect with people and tell them the Good News of Jesus Christ, Our Savior and Lord and connect to the authentic person God created us to be so we can use our spiritual gifts and talents to edify and encourage ourselves and the world.
